EU support available for fruit and vegetable growers

From 3 May to 2 June 2023 it will be possible to apply for the sub-measure "Support for investments in agricultural holdings" of Round 9 in the horticulture and fruit-growing sector. The funding available is €2 million, which will be distributed between small, medium-sized and large farm groups.

Funding will be granted for projects related to fruit and vegetable harvesting machinery, the purchase of specific tractors, and investments for the introduction and use of alternative energy for on-farm consumption.

The project will be implemented within one year and six months of the LAD decision approving the project application. It is important to note that the deadline for the submission of technical offers in the Catalogue of machinery and equipment is until 19 May 2023, so the preparation of project applications should be started in good time.
